The Friends of Wilson Creek, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to Preserving, Protecting and Promoting the natural beauty and history of Wilson Creek and its watershed. Special emphasis will be placed on public education and volunteer involvement at the Wilson Creek Visitor Center. Current initiatives are:
* Developing weekend activities at the Wilson Creek Visitor Center from May 1 through October 31st.
*Providing volunteer staff to assist in the operation of the Wilson Creek Visitor Center.
*Adding amenities to enhance the beauty and accessibility of the Wilson Creek Visitor Center.
*Providing financial support for interpretive exhibits, programs and publications.
*Supporting efforts to identify and enhance non-motorized trail systems in the Wilson Creek area.
*Raising public awareness of the importance of protecting this national treasure.
