The Friends of Wilson Creek want more people to become acquainted with the area and the rich treasures it holds. There is an interesting history as well as the natural beauty.
We have found persons willing to lead the following activities. The leaders are giving their time, and no fee is charged for most of these.
If your group is interested in any of these and have as many as six (6) people who would attend, call the Wilson Creek Visitor Center at 828-759-0005. Someone will contact you and a time will be arranged. For children under 18, another adult in addition to the leader will be needed for each six (6) children.
ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE ARE:
Hikes in the Wilson Creek Watershed
Beginning Nature Watercolor Color Painting Lessons
Fly Fishing Lesson
Wildflower Walk Around Center
Photography Outing
Discovery and Journaling Walk (suitable for all ages)
